Personal support

We support individuals to reach their full potential by offering opportunities to develop their skills and competencies.

People are at the heart of every one of our partnerships, so we strive to build authentic, ongoing relationships with our Partners. We value people’s ability to lead on their own development, offering support to help them realise their vision.

We provide funding and create opportunities for bespoke training, personal well-being, professional development, peer support working groups, mastermind and accountability sessions - all delivered with professionalism, enthusiasm and good humour.

We are here to share your journey, walk alongside you and champion you every step of the way.

What kind of support you can access

We recognise every organisation will have different needs, so we take the time to understand our partner’s aims and work with them to identify the support most relevant to them. Examples include:

  • recruitment of team members and volunteers

  • funding for in-house or external training

  • conducting performance reviews

  • providing personal & professional development opportunities

  • organising team building & well-being activities

Personal support: An example

A new charity has requested a day tackling the more mundane but essential aspects of governance; policy writing and year end accounts.

The Pearce Foundation invite them to spend the day at our base in Hove and identify a Skill-Sharer with the relevant experience to help. They complete as much as possible on the day, and stay in touch until the charity complete their task.
