Organisational support

We provide strategic support to ensure our Partners have the right resources, systems and equipment in place to support their beneficiaries.

Fledgling organisations with modest budgets often meet a point in their development where they need assistance to take the next step in their growth. We trust you to know where funding is most needed. We’ll also work with you to identify less tangible areas of your operations where improvements can make you more efficient and effective.

We’ll provide opportunities to learn from our network of Skill-Sharers, so you can continue leading your organisation on its journey.

What kind of support you can access

We recognise every organisation will have different needs, so we take the time to understand our partners aims and work with them to identify the best use of our funds and support. Examples include:

  • improving governance

  • developing fundraising strategies

  • measuring and evaluating impact

  • improving communications

  • strategy design and planning

  • developing or changing organisational structure

  • improving systems and office procedures

  • purchasing of new equipment, materials or technology

Organisational support: An example

A charity Director has been running all aspects of the organisation for 18 months and is now ready to employ their first team member. They would like to invest in a new PC for them, as well as accessing help with the recruitment process.

The Pearce Foundation provide funding for the PC, and explore whether their skills gap is best addressed by funding their attendance at a training session or through one of our Skill-Sharers. A solution is reached and the charity is able to move forward and take that next step of growth.
