Our 2024-25 Annual Report: a year of growing together
We're delighted to share our annual report for 2024-25 — and what a year it's been!
This year we welcomed four new charity partners: Apron Creative, Eastbourne Trampoline, Head to the Sky, and Kitchen Sessions. We also welcomed back Flourish Mentors, our very first pilot partner, returning for the next stage of their journey with us. Each organisation brought its own story, and it has been a genuine privilege to walk alongside them.
One thing our partners told us clearly this year: the connections they made with each other were just as valuable as the support we provided. That spirit of peer learning is something we're actively building on as we develop our programme.
Central to our work this year was a collective values exercise, inspired by departing founding trustee Janice Taylor. We invited our partners, skill-sharers and trustees to reflect on one value that had stood out for them and share how they'd experienced it in practice. The responses — spanning respect, integrity, kindness and more — gave us a vivid picture of the culture we're building together.
Our skill-sharers continued to make a real difference to our partners this year. Rich James worked with organisations to sharpen their Theory of Change, clarify their strategy and strengthen their communications. Caz O'Kane led a series of Fundraising Writing Rooms at the Cabin — structured sessions that gave partners protected time to work on funding applications and receive hands-on guidance. Together with support provided by our Founder Jane Robbie, these contributions represent many hours of expert support that go far beyond what a grant alone could offer.
We also said a heartfelt goodbye to Janice Taylor, whose three-year contribution as a founding trustee has shaped so much of how we think and work. Thank you, Janice.
