Boosting Charity Income: Partners Explore Crowdfunding with Expert Guidance

The Pearce Foundation recently hosted an energising Crowdfunding workshop led by Jason Nuttall, Head of Crowdfunder Foundation at Crowdfunder UK. Charity partners—both past and present—gathered to explore innovative ways of generating income and building meaningful supporter engagement.

Jason delivered a hands-on session, guiding attendees through the essentials of launching successful campaigns. Topics included marketing strategy, stakeholder mapping, storytelling techniques, and the importance of using video to connect with audiences.

One key theme that resonated deeply was the idea that crowdfunding isn't just about money. It’s about community-building, creativity, and encouraging people to engage in many different ways. This holistic approach aligns closely with the Pearce Foundation's own ethos.

Attendees left the session buzzing with ideas, clear next steps, and a toolkit of practical resources to support their next fundraising moves. Inspired by the energy in the room, the Pearce Foundation is proud to announce that it will match fund campaigns launched by its Charity Partners when they’re ready to go live.

Make it stand out

Thanks Jane Robbie for embracing the idea of matched crowdfunding, looking forward to seeing some amazing crowdfunding campaigns from your supported organisations on Crowdfunder UK!

“We’re excited to see how our partners take this learning forward and turn inspiration into action,” said a spokesperson for the Pearce Foundation. “A huge thank you to Jason for his time, insights, and humour. It was a fantastic session.”

The Pearce Foundation remains committed to helping small charities grow their reach and impact—and this is just the beginning.
