The Pearce Foundation at the 'Meet the Funders 2025' Webinar

We were delighted to take part in this year’s Meet the Funders webinar, hosted by Community Works on Wednesday 30 April 2025.

Bringing together 11 national, regional and local funders, the session welcomed 139 attendees from 119 organisations across Brighton, Hove, Adur, Worthing and beyond. It was a fantastic opportunity to connect with a broad range of community groups and charities working hard to make a difference in their local areas.

The event offered practical insights into how funders work, what we’re looking for in applications, and how organisations can strengthen their chances of success. It was an invaluable session for those exploring new funding opportunities or aiming to sharpen their fundraising strategies.

We’d like to extend our thanks to Community Works and Lucy Stone of No Stone Unturned for bringing us all together for such a useful and energising event. And of course, thank you to all the brilliant organisations who took part and asked such thoughtful questions.

The full recording is now available online on Community Works website and packed with useful tips for anyone involved in fundraising. You can watch it here.

Our segment starts at 53:45 — we hope it provides helpful insight into our approach at The Pearce Foundation.
